(Santa Maria) - At the
kickoff for the 2nd Annual Duel in the Pool Series, pitting Santa
Maria against Bakersfield, Santa Monica and Clovis,
SMSC faired well, dominating all but one of the boys
competitions.
In the3 combined
team score, SMSC won in head to head action against all 3
teams. On the Men's side, SMSC managed a last second victory over
Clovis, also beating Bakersfield. The boys ended up falling to
Santa Monica 207-161.
The SMSC girls
dominated the entire meet, coming up ahead on all 3 meets.
The Duel in the
Pool series pits each team against each team individually.
The next meet in
the series will be hosted by Santa Monica in
January.
